Rams Night for Wishes is Make-A-Wish® Tri-Counties’ signature annual event hosted by the Los Angeles Rams. The event, hosted by 4-time Pro-Bowler Andrew Whitworth with Master of Ceremonies Andrew Firestone, was held at Sherwood Country Club. This beautiful evening under the stars was a night to remember and included a 3-course dinner, a festive silent auction, a live auction featuring exclusive Rams experiences, vacations, and one of a kind items.
The highlight of the evening, the Players Challenge, featured Rams players, Cheerleaders and Mascot Rampage who competed for tips in the form of “Wish Bucks” in exchange for autographs, photos and fun! Guests experienced heartfelt stories about the wish children whose lives have been touched by the power of a wish. All money raised stays local to grant the wishes of children in our community battling life-threatening medical conditions.
Make-A-Wish® Tri-Counties, founded in 1985, has granted over 1,850 wishes. The chapter serves 3 counties along California’s Central Coast with two offices – the main office in Camarillo and a regional office in Santa Barbara.
A wish come true empowers a child with a life-threatening medical condition to fight harder against their Illness. When they are granted a wish, they receive more than just a great experience for a moment, a day, or a week. Wishes create memories that last forever and can have a transformative impact on the quality of life for the child and the entire family. 89% of medical professionals believe that a wish can positively influence a child’s physical health.
