Cedric The Entertainer hosted his 7th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Lexus to raise funds for Cedric’s The Kyles Family Foundation which benefits The American Diabetes Association and Boys & Girls Club of America. The event started off with a VIP Reception & Pairings Party held at Bogie’s Bar in Westlake Village on Sunday. The evening was filled with great food, beverages and amazing performances. The following day, the 7th Annual Cedric The Entertainer Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Lexus teed off at the Spanish Hills Country Club.
The event hosted some of the biggest names in the sports and entertainment industry; Alonzo Mourning, Alex Thomas, Chris Hale, Dwight Hicks, Eddie George, George Lopez, Gerald Albright, Grant Fuhr, Greg Vaughn, Jeffrey Osborne, Jim Plunkett, Kathleen Bradley, Lee Elder, Mike Phillips, Mike Woodson, Norm Nixon, Pete Shaw, Peter Mackenzie, Reggie Bush, Reggie Theus, Royce Clayton, Sam Jones, Scottie Pippen, Seema Sadekar, Sugar Ray Leonard, Willie Buchanon, Willie Gault, Duane Martin, Dennis Haysbert, Bryon Scott, Ozzie Smith, David Justice, Artis Gilmore, Richard Roundtree and Matt Barnes.
The Kyles Family Foundation is dedicated to the educational empowerment and hygienic health awareness of young people in the Los Angeles area providing pathways to becoming productive, confident, well-rounded citizens. KFF works with several highly successful organizations which contribute in teaching the important lesson that positive self-esteem begins with feeling good about oneself—recognizing and creating habits that reinforce individual self-worth are key foundation tools. As their motto reads: “Building you up. Lifting you up.”
