The Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation held its annual Farm to Table Gourmet Event. Guests were treated to the delicacies of the county prepared by Chef Jason Collis of Plated Events, microbrewery and Opolo wine tasting. The Department “toys” were there along with a silent and live auction.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation is entirely funded by generous contributions and support from their members. All money contributed goes directly to the Foundation’s programs and operations, and stays in Ventura County, and provides for more effective law enforcement.
“Jim and I are proud to support the Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation and the work of the Board members and all the volunteers. Our son Joe Markiewicz is passionate about serving on the Board and being a part of organization that supports the county’s law enforcement team and the work they do to keep our county one of the safest in the nation! Celebrity guest, Joe Mantagna, joined guests in celebrating the Sheriff’s Department and Sheriff Bill Ayub.
